Slvr L7 How to apply fpa patch

Required:

1. Flash & Backup 3.0.3 or higher. (Recommended: v3.0.6)

2. .fpa patch file. Get it here.

Steps:

If you want to patch CG1 of a mp that is currently not on your phone, then start from Step:: 2.

(1) Take a backup of the following CG using Flash&Backup 3.0.4 :: CG1, CG3, CG7, CG18.

(a) Make sure the Active Phone Profile on the top is set to Motorola L7 SLVR.

(b) Go to Read Data tab ; make sure the Backup format on the right is set to SHX (S- Records File).

(c) Select (check) the CG mentioned above and press Read Data button on bottom right.

(d) Skip Step::2.

(2) Select the following CG from the monster pack :: CG1, CG3, CG7, CG18.

(a) Go to Firmware tab. Press Select file button on the right and select the mp.

(b) Select (highlight) CG except the four mentioned above and Delete them. (Do not delete RAMDLD file).

(c) Skip Step::3.

(3) Go to Firmware tab. Press Select file button on the right and select the backup created earlier in Step::1.

(4) Check Apply patches at the bottom and press Select patches button.

(5) Check Automatically create undo for patches and press Add button to add the .fpa patches.

(6) After you are done adding patches, press Save As and save the patched file in SHX format.

Now you can flash the patched file.
